2016-2017 Winter Program:
Under the guidance of coaching director, Mike Hook, the Rock Soccer Licensed Coaching Staff is again organizing RSC’s winter indoor training sessions. The 2016-2017 session will be enhanced with additional skill development activities while keeping fun atmosphere of Futsal game play.
The hope is to keep as many of our community players active throughout the winter months as we can. The more a player touches the ball, the better the player they will become. Giving the players opportunity to play year round will help RSC grow and become more competitive with teams in the Spring and Fall leagues. This will be our 3rd year offing the program and we hope that our players take advantage of this opportunity during the winter months.
RSC Winter Program is for players in our academy and competitive programs, ages U9 -U19 boys and girls.

4th Annual Rock Futsal Cup Tournament:
This is the RSC futsal tournament will occur in March. The tournament is a separate fee for RSC players, but there will be a discount applied to our teams. The tournament is not mandatory but encouraged. More information to come out as that gets closer.
Registration & Fees:
- Registration deadline is Wednesday, December 30th and payment is due upon registartion via on-line payment
- Cost $75 for current RSC members and $100 for non-RSC members
This will be a coed league with mixed teams each week. However, players will train and compete with players of similar soccer ability and age. The more players that are registered allows for greater flexibility when grouping players each week. Each session will be a mix of foot skill work and futsal games. It goes without saying, the more players we get signed up, the greater the chances of playing with same age groups. Each session will involve 60 minutes of skills/drills followed by 60 minutes of gameplay.
Players should bring their own soccer ball for skill work. The league will supply futsal balls and pinnies for the games, but players must wear a pair of sneakers or indoor soccer shoes that do not get worn outside. Shin guards underneath socks are mandatory.

What is Futsal:
Futsal is the only “official form of indoor soccer” as approved by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). Futsal is played all over the world, in over 100 countries, by 12 million players. This is the game that outdoor soccer players around the globe play when they are indoors to refine and maintain their control skills and touch. FIFA has made a commitment to promote and structure the sport of futsal globally, by means of competitions, courses and other proactive measures, and to encourage its members to do the same. It is a small-sided game (4v4+GK) played on a smaller field (roughly basketball court sized) with a smaller (size 3-4) ball. Click here for more FIFA info on Futsal
