Classic Competitive Programs

Goal: The Competitive program is an opportunity for players ages U11-U14 and for High School U15-U19 under the guidance of our Coaching Director and licensed coaches to play at a competitive level that focuses on developing the player to their highest potential while instilling a passion for the game and teamwork. Teams play matches against skilled and competitive teams in either Classic League or State League. The goal is that our players can accelerate their growth both physically and mentally by playing in a more challenging environment.

Divisions: Within the Classic and State leagues there are various divisions allowing Rock Soccer Club to place players and teams at appropriate developmental level. While the teams are competitive, the club is committed to making soccer accessible to as many people as possible. It is the goal to place every child on a team but this is not guaranteed.

Placement for U11-U19 Teams are done through an Evaluation/Tryout Process held in end of May/early June each year.    However throughout the year, there may be openings so if you are new to the community, etc. please email for information at

Girls High School teams play in Fall and Boys teams play in Spring but both tryouts are held in May/June.

Beginning fall of 2016, the age groupings will change in accordance with US Youth Soccer.  Please see the attached document for more information.  The age tables can be found on the US Soccer Website.    We are tracking all questions regarding this age change via this questionnaire.
