Spring soccer planning meeting
It's time for new blood to jump in and keep this baby going when we vote for next year's slate of officers. Anyone involved in the club can run.
E-mail Brian Ziegler (treasurer@rocksoccerclub.org) for location.
The club is in GREAT shape financially and organizationally thanks to the diligence of Brian Ziegler and Tim Whittaker, but it's their time to move on. Katie Speth also found it was time for her to direct her energies elsewhere.
We need a new vice president, treasurer and secretary. We also need volunteers to take part in fundraisers, registration, grounds keeping, tournament directors, etc.
Meeting agenda items include:
-How many player's do you have confirmed?
-How will we split teams?
-How will we expand to fill the teams after the split?
-Spring Tournaments? Sign your teams up NOW!
-Indoor?-practices and competition.
-Seasonal code of Conduct review for each team first meeting.
-More coaches this spring as the east side in-house program is set to go. The new Girls' U-14 coach is Charlie Friedrich, which frees up Dave Schansberg to be the in-house director this spring at the Sports complex.
-New Coaches---- Sign up for coach clinics now if you need them. The Rock Soccer Club pays full tuition. Use the WYSA Club affiliation rate. The club name when you sign-up may still be "Rock Futbol Federation" due to programming errors at the state.
Thanks,
Bill Fisher, president, Rock Soccer Club
